A small crack appeared on the interior edge. It hasn't spread yet, but may/will eventually. Not good at all!

@Melissa - Thanks for the link. I remember reading about it in a past EON issue, and thought it had gone the way of the dodo. Looks like it'll be a really long term project. It didn't get much further than that though as my CD has somehow been damaged in the years since purchase.

Who said CD's are forever?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13002648.post-3183249432067823992008-10-23T19:05:00.000-04:002008-10-23T19:05:00.000-04:00Games that capture your heart as well as your hand...Games that capture your heart as well as your hands are a rare commodity in our current climate of gaming. For some reason I find more of a rapport with narratives from older titles than I do a majority of the most recent. I've never played Home World, but it sounds like a great experience.

Thank you for calling me lovely and talented, by the way! lol.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13002648.post-75022442081580294852008-10-23T15:28:00.000-04:002008-10-23T15:28:00.000-04:00Thank you for reminding me CK. I too have replayed the game recently and it has lost none of its power. I particularly empathise with your description of "emotional attachment" to the game. Remember the Garden of Kadesh? Surely one of the most atmospheric gamings sequences every.mbphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09037758442729422620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13002648.post-22603630704366865722008-10-23T15:07:00.000-04:002008-10-23T15:07:00.000-04:00Regretfully, I somehow missed Homeworld.
