EVE Fanfest 2011 Trailer: "EVE - A Future Vision"

This latest video from CCP was shown at the "CCP Presents" keynote to a standing ovation. It was shown a second time after everyone got up a second and shouted: FUCK YEAH! FUCK YEAH! FUCK YEAH! at Hilmar's request! His request to the capsuleers, whether at Fanfest or watching it via the stream: "Please Help us spread the word about EVE!".

Friday Video: Could this be a new DUST 514 Trailer by CCP Games?

OK, clearly the video below - Mass Effect 3 Trailer - isn't the one we're all anticipating. But it does have that dirty, gritty, war-is-a-shit-whole feeling to it, which is what I expect the next DUST 514 trailer will look like. Based on the only DUST 514 trailer CCP has been so kind to release (over a year ago I might add - and nothing since!) we can certainly expect a very polished FPS. Let's just hope that it will have the appeal and breadth of the Mass Effect series!

If you were CCP, what sort of trailer would you release to really get people's attention? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one!

Friday Video (Belated Edition): Lost Planet 2 Lady Pirates Trailer [HD]

Lady Pirates with big bad guns, now this definitely looks fun! I can certainly see myself playing with my daughter in duo, and fragging the shit out of our opponents! Though first, she'll have to grow up a bit; 3 might be a bit young to play this kind of game.

Iron Man 2 - The Latest Trailer

Not too many movies into the "cool techno geek" group, but Iron Man, and most likely its sequel do. Judging from the following trailer - the 2nd one - Iron Man 2 looks very promising! I for one, look forward to it!


For that matter TRON has that same effect on me! Looking forward to that trailer being released. Which I know should be soon; as in by the end of the week!

Friday Video: Mass Effect 2 Launch Trailer

Well, seems I'm an emotional guy. Either that or game trailers are getting really damn good. Probably both statements are true.

Mass Effect 2 comes out next Tuesday for us folks in North America (and the 29th on the old continent). And though I'll be away at a sales conference for the reminder of that week I still pre-ordered the game at EB earlier this month.

When I watch, and re-watch a trailer like the one below, I have to admit I get goose bumps.

I've got to be honest, when I first saw a trailer for Black Prophecy, I was impressed. Really impressed.



Though this latest trailer's visuals are awe inspiring, I'm definitely not impressed with the voice over. Sounds like some sort of comedy trailer.

Out of Eden: Jumpgate Evolution Trailer

Another interesting Space MMO is gearing up towards Beta. That's a second original IP Space Combat MMO to compete for the genre with EVE Online (SGO, SWG and STO aren't original IPs). And that's all the for the better if you ask me. There are some important game play differences between the 3, so there's a good chance that the game may cater to different sets of gamers, or fill two different sets of needs. We wish them both good luck!

Out of Eden: Another great Gears of War Trailer

The guys at Epic really know how to make great trailers, and this Gears of War 2 video is the latest example of this. When I think back, one of the original trailers for the first GoW game was also amazing. If you've got time, make sure to watch the HD version. Really amazing details and great lighting effects.

New Revelations II trailer is out!

While Tranquility is still down for patch day, head over to the video section and have a look at the new videos [high (1080p), low (720p)]. Sweet lord I could live on these trailers!

Speaking of trailers and videos, has anyone of you gotten news from the Evolution crew. I watched it again last night going over all the EVE videosI've downloaded through the years, and damn was I looking forward to that movie! Then there was that article in E:ON, can't remember what issue. But nothing since then.

If you know of any new development on the project since then, I'd love to hear from you, as I'm sure others would too. The quality was just astounding and I'd really hate to see this project end without anything coming out of it.

Hopefully we'll have some news in the next issue of E:ON.
