Walking in Stations teaser looks amazing in HD
I recently hinted about my desire to add mini-games within the confines of a space station. The idea came to me after seeing the SecWars mini-game created for the Walking in Stations expension, which last I heard should be released before the end of the year. Here's a glimpse of what to expect.
It's evolved nicely since the first time we saw Ambulation over 2 years ago don't you think? It'll also be interesting to see how our avatars look evolve when WiS (aka Ambulation) comes out!

That video is about a year old isn't it? I remember parts of it from awhile ago. I think WIS is going to look even more different now :) and then when it comes out.
I hear they might be calling it WIS:Forever. :p

@Niall - Yeah, we saw a lot of that at last fanfest. They call it WiS as opposed to FiS (Flying in Space)!
Heh, that still looks a little strange to me...like I was seeing Second Life with the EVE interface overlaying it.
I imagine those of us that came from SL will jump into WiS and feel right at home. Who knows, I may be able to bring my club DJ act into EVE...
I still say WiS/Ambulation/whatever is going to be CCP's version of Duke Nukem Forever.
The mini games are the primary appeal of WIS for me...well, that and the (hopeful) ability to design a Hellcats Hot Tub Cafe & Tattoo Parlor and open it for business!!!
@Erbo - never been in SL, but this somehow feels familiar. Looking forward to it as well!
@James - I wouldn't bet on that, WiS is the basis of their World of Darkness game developpement and much more than vaporware! Prepare to be surprised!
@Mynxee - A hot tub with Mynxee? Where's the line-up? :p
Agreed with Erbo on the SL comment.
And, I wonder what impact it will have on the game as a whole. Perhaps we'll even see players who setup shop in a station and just stay there.
