But here I am again, feeling that familiar urge to write, to geek out, and to reconnect with all of you. I’m brushing off the space dust and bringing CrazyKinux’s Musings back to life. With the 20-year milestone coming up in about a month and a half, I’m more motivated than ever—two decades of rambling, community-building (the first decade if I’m being honest), and shared passion is definitely worth celebrating!
So what can you expect?
- More frequent posts: I’m aiming to bring you fresh content on a regular basis—think updates, game reviews, and personal ramblings about whatever’s caught my attention lately.
- Tutorials: I love putting these together to help me get the most out of the games I play. I’ve already written a few (here, here, here, and here), and I plan to keep them coming.
- Deep dives into sci-fi and fantasy: Get ready for posts about must-read novels, hidden-gem movies or short films, and binge-worthy series that deserve a spot on your radar.
- Community love: This has always been about us—so I’ll be shining the spotlight on your feedback, community projects, and everything else that keeps us chatting late into the night.
I’ve missed that sense of camaraderie this blog had always fostered. I can’t promise daily posts, but you can bet I’m determined to keep the momentum going. Expect a mix of behind-the-scenes looks at what I’m up to, thoughts on the next big game, book 📕 or RPG 🐉 I'm jumping into, and plenty of enthusiastic rambles about all things sci-fi.
Here's a few examples of the posts you can expect:
- Exploring the Therapeutic Power of Dungeons & Dragons and RPG-like Games for Mental Health
- The Calm of Creation: Why City-Building Games Are Perfect for Gamer Dads
- Exploring the Dark and Dystopian World of Blade Runner
- Exploring the What-If: A Review of William Gibson's Unproduced 'Alien 3' Screenplay
- 10 Riveting Post-Apocalyptic and Dystopian Novels to Dive into After Hugh Howey's 'Wool'
- Duel of the Fates vs. The Rise of Skywalker: Which would have been a better Episode IX?
And if you’ve been hanging in the background, waiting for signs of life—thank you for your patience. I’m excited to reconnect, and keep the conversation flowing or start new ones.
Stay tuned, because there’s plenty more on the way.
Before I sign off, I’ve got to give a big shoutout to my buddy, Rixx Javix, whose own blog—Eveoganda—hits the 19-year milestone this month. Talk about a beacon of dedication and a big motivation for me to jump back into the fray.
