The mighty Gallente Obelisk is one of those ships which you simply feel the urge to quickly move out of the way when you cross her path. She's got one hell of a big belly and can carry billions worth of ISKs. As such, you'll rarely see one not escorted by a combat squadron. If not, they're just asking for trouble!
My take on gaming, short scifi film, RPGs and anything & everything remotely geeky!

I always thought the Obelisk resembled some kind of weird bagel toaster! Nice picture...you can see them fairly frequently in Balle passing through on their way to or from Dodixie (one assumes).
Those are in Jita!
Like bagels eh? Man, I'd love to see the jar of cream cheese!
The first time I saw one of these, I knew I had to fly it. I'm halfway there, I have the skills, just not the 800 mil ISK for one :P
Keep at it Fholcan, eventually you'll get there! Make sure to send us a postcard!
Every time I see one I think, "Hey look, the next victim for griefers." Maybe this will change now that Concord is responding faster, but I think they're just too juicy a target for those wanting to get some easy loot/minerals/loot.
Which is why they should always be escorted. Otherwise they're like that big marshmallow dude in Ghostbusters. That is, about to be blown up!
