Review of (an amazing) November 2008 at CK's Musing

November 2008 was a month like no other at CrazyKinux's Musing. Both in terms of content, visitors and comments. It was also a hectic month in terms of RL, with some crucial job interviews at the beginning of the month, which landed me an amazing career opportunity at CNW Group.

Of course, the EVE Fanfest 2008 was responsible for the majority of the sites traffic in the first few days of the month. Iceland and the folks at CCP were amazing and I plan to attend the 2009 edition as well! Maybe this time Mrs CK will tag along and we can spend a few more days visiting the natural beauty of the country.

Looking at some of the stats for the month of November gives us:
  • 33,315 pageviews
  • 22,895 visitors
  • 6,276 returning visitors
  • 480 RSS subscribers (average)
  • Passed 280,000 pageviews since launch!
Over the 3 days of Fanfest the blog had over 13,000 pageviews! Just to put that into perspective, in January of this year, the site had 8,000 pageviews - for the whole month! My Flickr account also saw an exponential level of activity with 40,793 views on Nov 7th, 35,611 views on the 8th and 26,504 views on the 9th! All of which were results of visits to my Fanfest 2008 collection.

Most popular posts of the month were:
  1. Walking in Station Videos - EVE Fanfest 2008
  2. EVE Fanfest Day 3 - Highlights
  3. Quantum Rise Trailer
Unfortunately, RL prevented me from releasing the next MicroWarpCast show - which I'm still editing (yeah, yeah I've been saying so for a few days now). And I've fallen off the band wagon with my Blog Pack Member Profiles. I promise to rectify the situation in the coming month.

Here's what I'm working on in the coming month:
Thanks for all your support and time spent reading this blog. All my efforts would amount to nothing if it weren't for you, my readers!

Fly safe as always!

I think it's pretty obvious that many people see you as the leader of the EVE blogging community.
